About Dubai School Finder

Dubai School Finder is Dubai’s first hireable AI school consultant. It currently indexes 236school profiles: all 229 records in KHDA’s current 229-school directory, plus 7 legacy profiles absent from that directory. Where usable fee data exists, it calculates the estimated real cost (tuition plus transport, books, uniform and activities) for the grade a child actually enters, and ranks profiles by road distance from the family’s home, their budget and the KHDA rating. Parents can hire Murshid, the consultant, to work through a single school decision with them.

Searching and comparing is free, and the platform accepts no payment from schools: no paid placement, no commission, no advertising. It is funded by parents who hire Murshid for AED 99 a case. Dubai School Finder is operated by Datum Technologies FZE LLC, an Ajman Free Zone company, trade licence 2629418442888.

Quick facts

· KHDA live directory: 229 schools, checked 2026-09-11
· Product catalogue: 236 profiles; all 229 current directory records plus 7 legacy profiles
· 219 current profiles have usable verified KHDA per-grade fee rows
· 40 Dubai neighbourhoods covered
· 17 curricula represented (UK, US, IB, Indian, MoE, French, German, etc.)
· Murshid, a hireable AI school consultant: any fee it states is grounded in the available record for the child’s grade, the school run is timed, and admissions questions can be drafted for the parent to send; mapped fees and ratings are re-checked weekly against KHDA’s official records
· Road-measured commutes: routed road kilometres determine distance ranking; top matches receive a next 7:30 am school-run time, as a traffic estimate, when Mapbox returns a route. If routing is unavailable, commute is removed from the score and straight-line orientation is labelled
· Each school’s own academic calendar as filed with KHDA: first and last day, every break (205 schools on file)
· Weekly re-verification against KHDA’s own records, with superseded values archived rather than overwritten
· A public corrections log: when we get something wrong, the fix is published
· Independent: rankings, ratings, and recommendations are never for sale
· Founded 2026 · operated by Datum Technologies FZE LLC, Ajman Free Zone, licence 2629418442888
· Founder: Dr Ambika Yadav

Every claim above is checkable: the methodology sets out the weights, the sources, the refusals and the corrections log.

Founder bio · Dr. Ambika Yadav

Short version (50 words)

Dr. Ambika Yadav is the founder of Dubai School Finder. She holds a PhD in Biology and an M.Sc. in Biotechnology, with over a decade of experience teaching higher-secondary students. She moved to Dubai with her young son and built Dubai School Finder after living through the school-search process herself.

Long version (180 words)

Dr. Ambika Yadav is a biology teacher, educator, and the founder of Dubai School Finder, an independent platform helping Dubai families choose the right private school. With a PhD in Biology, an M.Sc. in Biotechnology, and over ten years of experience teaching higher-secondary students, Dr. Ambika brings the rigor of an educator to a market that has historically operated on marketing copy and word of mouth.

After moving to Dubai with her young son, she experienced first-hand the chaos of the city’s school-search process. Thirty browser tabs, conflicting fee schedules, and zone-based listings that had nothing to do with where her family actually lived. She built Dubai School Finder to fix what she found broken: estimated real cost (not just headline tuition), pin-drop search (not zone filters), and an independent voice (rankings and recommendations that cannot be bought).

Dubai School Finder offers parents Murshid, an AI school consultant that works through their school decision with them (AED 99), keeping source-labelled fees, road routes, comparisons, admissions questions, and the family’s reasoning in one saved case.
