About Dubai School Finder

Dubai School Finder is an independent platform that helps Dubai families choose the right private school. It indexes every KHDA-registered private school in Dubai (212 at last count), calculates the real annual cost (tuition plus transport, books, uniform, activities, and the KHDA Knowledge Dirham levy) and ranks them to each family’s home, budget, and child’s year group.

The platform is free for parents and accepts no payment from schools. It is funded by paid advisory calls and personalised reports purchased by parents.

Dr. Ambika Yadav is the founder of Dubai School Finder. She holds a PhD in Biology and an M.Sc. in Biotechnology, with over a decade of experience teaching higher-secondary students. She moved to Dubai with her young daughter and built Dubai School Finder after living through the school-search process herself.

Dr. Ambika Yadav is a biology teacher, educator, and the founder of Dubai School Finder, an independent platform helping Dubai families choose the right private school. With a PhD in Biology, an M.Sc. in Biotechnology, and over ten years of experience teaching higher-secondary students, Dr. Ambika brings the rigor of an educator to a market that has historically operated on marketing copy and word of mouth.

After moving to Dubai with her young daughter, she experienced first-hand the chaos of the city’s school-search process. Thirty browser tabs, conflicting fee schedules, and zone-based listings that had nothing to do with where her family actually lived. She built Dubai School Finder to fix what she found broken: real annual cost (not just headline tuition), pin-drop search (not zone filters), and an independent voice (no school sponsorships, no commissions).
