PhD in Biology. M.Sc. Biotechnology. Over a decade teaching higher-secondary students, the kind who are two years from a decision that defines the next decade of their lives. She knows the difference between a school that looks good on paper and a school that actually prepares a child for what comes next.
She moved to Dubai with her son starting KG1 and went looking for the school. What she found was marketing copy, inconsistent fee disclosures, and zone-based listings that had nothing to do with where her family actually lived. No site gave her the estimated real cost. None ranked schools to her home. None showed the weights behind the algorithm.
So she built what was missing. Every feature on this site answers a question she had as a parent, and was pressure-tested against what she knows as an educator. If it didn’t survive that double audit, it got cut.
No venture capital. No advertiser relationships. No affiliate kickbacks. The product is supported by parents who buy the School Match Report, never by schools. If that ever changes, this page changes first.

The manifesto
Two things we promise.
- Our rankings, ratings, and recommendations are never for sale. The ratings come from KHDA’s government inspections, which nobody can buy. Our scoring can’t be paid to move. If a school ever appears through a paid partnership, it will be clearly labelled and never mixed into your results. And Dr. Ambika takes no commission from any school, ever.
- We give you the data, the math, and an opinion. You make the call. Our scoring weights are public and tunable. Our cost calculator is auditable line by line. Where we have a view on a school, we say so, and we say it the same way to every parent.
